Need Help?

Hi, can you recommend a paint for a metal up and over garage door? It's currently mostly painted and whilst I will remove the loose paint I'd rather not have to remove it all. Some galvanized steel is showing. I'm happy to use a primer. Is like a matt mid green. Also, do you stock any paint that might be suitable for the corrugated concrete / asbestos roof? Light grey if possible. Thanks Shane

Thank you for the enqiury, assuming all the loose or flaking paint is removed, the sustrate is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Bradite One Can Matt.

We would recommend testing for compatibility and adhesion on previously applied paints.

A matt finish is more susceptible to scuffs, stains and water marks, so if a more hardwearing option with a sheen is acceptable Bradite One Can Eggshell could be used.

For the corrugated concrete or asbsetos roof assuming this is also clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Rust-Oleum Mathys Primer 44 HS followed by Rust-Oleum Mathys Fillcoat.

This is available in light grey, dark grey or black.
