Hi, could you please advise in your professional opinion, if painting PVC windows and doors is a good idea? They are currently brown and I'd like black. Also, how do I know if its PVC or uPVC I have and does this make a difference. Thanks
Most plastic windows are UPVC and are regularly refinished for cosmetic purposes.
Assuming the aged UPVC windows are clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the Technical Data Sheet we can recommend Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Water Based.
This is available in many RAL and BS colours in a matt, satin or gloss finish.
