Hi, I am looking for a paint that would be suitable to go over a wet floor shower area. I am not in a position to redo the bathroom of the house I have recently purchased so want a temporary solution to revamp the wet room until I am able to install a new bathroom. Are there any paints which would be suitable for the flooring (in the shower area also) and to cover the tiled walls please.
Assuming the floor substrate is clean, dry and sound we can recommend Smartkote Safekote. This is a bare foot friendly antislip paint available in many colours and a clear option. Please see the Technical Data Sheet for Preparation and Application details including if a primer is required for the projects substrate. Assuming the wall tiles are ceramic and not exposed to direct water contact from the shower, once prepared we can recommend Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 followed by Zinsser Perma-white interior. This is available in many RAL and BS colours.
