Hi Looking for some paint for a new galvanised external staircase. Ideally in slate grey RAL7015 or similar. The fabricators have said to use t-wash first and then paint. Do I need a primer aswell? What would you recommend? Many thanks Alex
Assuming the galvanized staircase treads are not being painted, the structure is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Rust-Oleum 3202 Galvinoleum Primer.
Followed by 2coats of Rust-Oleum 7500 Alkythane on the structure.
