I have concrete steps that I want to make a little more slip proof. Would the paints also help against ice? And if so which one. Thanks.
Assuming the concrete steps are clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the Technical Data Sheet we can recommend Smartkote Protectakote UVR.
On bare concrete the first coat should be thinned 10% with 100 Rapid Drying Thinner.
This will provide an anti-slip surface and will help provide slip resistance against ice assuming water cannot pool on the steps.
