I've got metal gutters that need replacing ...untill then I need to repair a leak Is the a fast drying paint that will repair it ?

Assuming the metal gutters are clean, dry and sound we can recommend Rust-Oleum Mathys Fillcoat Fibres.

This will bridge cracks or holes upto 2mm.
