Need Help?

Im wanting to try a polyurethane paint on a plywood piece of furniture. Am I better painting a colour in a normal paint then using a clear polyurethane or using a coloured polyurethane and could you advise a good product Thanks

Assuming the plywood is clean, dry and sound we can recommend Teamac High Performance Polyurethane Topcoat as a direct to timber option with a coloured finish.

This is available in many RAL and BS colours and a clear option.

If you are looking for a clear finish to overcoat a previous coating, subject to testing for compatibility prior to full application we can recommend Rust-Oleum 4900 Polycoat 2K.
