Need Help?

Dear Sirs I am looking to repaint the outside of the house, part of which is wooden clad. The timber is in good order and only needs a light sanding down. Do I need to first put an undercoat on or can I go with a primer/finish paint combined ?? Looking for a grey colour total coverage about 60 square metres.

We would recommend Zinsser Cover Stain be used to prime the timber once it is clean and dry before applying 2 coats of Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Satin (Water Based) which is available in most RAL and BS colours. This would offer a 15 year life expectancy.
