Need Help?

Hello I'm hoping you can give me some advice please. I have a garage with corrugated asbestos concrete roofing which I want to make water-tight. I think the water is coming in via the screws/ bolts where the sheeting is fixed to the wood. Reading through your information, it seems that you reccomend Mathys Primer 44 HS and Rust-Oleum Mathys Dacfill Waterprofing. However I've seen that the Teamac Acrylic Coating also, though this doesn't seem to be waterproof. Could you confirm if it is the Mathys brand of primer and waterproofing that you would recommend for my situation please? Also, do I need any additional treatment around the screws? Many thanks Diane

As you have deduced the Teamac Acrylic Coating would not waterproof your roof in the same way the Rust-Oleum system would. The Rust-Oleum system would be our recommendation with the addition of Rust-Oleum Mathys Dacfill / Dacfill HZ Fleece being used over areas of concern such joints, fixings, etc.
