Hi guys, I have corrugated roof on my garage. It is rusting in places, especially on the edges that are in line with the gutters. Do I use a galvanized etching primer , then a rust inhibitive primer before the paint. I would prefer to use a system rather than just a coat of paint for a quick fix, as I want this to last. Any advice or recommendations?. Regards Shaun.
Assuming the roof is clean, dry and any rust is removed by mechanically abrading we can recommend Rust-Oleum Mathys Noxyde Pegarust. This is a primer and topcoat in one.
This is a rust preventing coating that is the solvent-based version of Rust-Oleum Mathys Noxyde that can be applied by brush, roller or spray.
