Hi, The house I live in in a 1930's ex council and does not have a cavity wall. This means that in the summer the sun heats up the bricks and this gets radiated back into the house, sometimes making the internal temperature 40°C. I am looking for paint recommendations to help reduce the temperature which the bricks get to, which should then reduce the internal temperature of the house in the summer. Many thanks
To retain heat in the summer you could apply a thermal paint internally, and to reduce excessive heat gain in summer apply one of our exterior masonry paints to the exterior wall surfaces in white.
