Need Help?

Hi We are buying some Panguanetta plywood which is fire retardant, but the surface is a little rough so we hope to apply a clear varnish to seal it. We have to use a varnish which would preserve the existing fire retardant properties of the plywood. Would you be able to direct us to an appropriate product please? Many thanks Mary

We're not familiar with 'Panguanetta plywood' but assuming it is just a normal fire rated plywood Thermoguard Smoke & Flame Retardant Dualcoat in clear could be used to seal and maintain the current level of fire protection. Eggshell finish is advisable as matt can appear cloudy in certain instances over darker substrates.
