I have a ceiling to repair/paint in a restaurant where there is a very large dishwasher halfway up the wall.. apparently it gets 85 degrees.. When opened the gush of steam straight to ceiling. Could you recomend the best paint or preperation to do please? And will it stop it from peeling again? Thanks for your time.
Clean down the area to coat, remove any loose and flaking paint, if back down to bare plaster on any areas prime with Zinsser AllCoat (Solvent-Based). Then apply 2 - 3 coats of Zinsser Perma-White Interior Satin in the colour of your choice. Dries in 2 hours, however we would recommend waiting at least 48 hours before using the dishwasher. Do not scrub the new coating for 7 days.
