we are painting our downstairs customer area in the shop, its next to the kitchen. we have put plasterboard on the ceiling but have some nice wooden beams across the ceiling that I believe are load bearing. what type of paint would you recommend? do you do any coloured options too? thanks
Assuming no fire protection is required then bare softwood timber should be primed with Zinsser Cover Stain before applying 2 coats of Zinsser Perma-White Interior which you can have in 4,000+ RAL, NCS, & BS colours in either a Matt or an Eggshell finish.
