Assuming the brick fire place is not exposed to direct flame contact, it is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Tikkurila Muuri.

This is available in a range of colours in a matt finish.

We would recommend testing for compatibility and adhesion prior to full application on any areas that have been previously painted.

This paint can withstand temperatures of 300°C if the white is used, the coloured options can withstand 180°C.

If the area will be exposed to high temperatures it would be best to remove the Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 primer first as this is not designed for the elevated temperatures.
