Hello Happy New Year. I have two single Hormann up and over series 2000, dark mahogany coloured powder coated garage doors, which need painting. My maintenance instructions say to prepare them with a single pack adhesion primer, then apply an eggshell or matt oil based paint (not cellulose) Do you have products to achieve this, please? I want to keep the same colour. Thank you.
Assuming the powder coating is polyester, it is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend the Kolorbond uPVC Painting Kits for this application.
A primer would not be required.
This is available in many RAL and BS colours.
It is water based and can be applied by brush, roller or spray application.
