Need Help?

Hello, I am painting my 1930's metal Dutch barge that is 30 metres long. Its in pretty good condition and has been nail gunned to metal and two pack Jotun paint applied to most of the above water areas above the black hull. That was 2 years ago. I have applied Hammerite, direct to rust to some areas. Matching the colour pretty well which is an off white, pale cream. Basically white with a small amount of ochre added. I now want to start afresh painting the boat and I have been recommended International paints. Some areas simply need another coat of paint on the existing paint. Other small areas require paint and rust removal down to metal then primer, undercoat and topcoat. Or preferably just primer and topcoat. I don't want to use two pack paint. I am used to painting houses, but not boats! I don't want the bother of mixing small amounts often as I'm using a brush Can you recommend products to use on bare metal and as a topcoat over the above mentioned paints? Thankyou Caya Edwards

Thank you for the enquiry, please can you provide pictures of the areas in question to [email protected] we we can assist with a recommendation.
