Hello I have been looking into painting my van which the paint is peeling badly from. The van Is fairly bare now but it has been galvanised underneath the original paint. Could you tell me please if the rust - oleum combicolour would be suitable for painting directly onto the galvanised van or would I need a primer first? There is also a few rust patches that have now came through the galvanise. Thanks for any help you can provide. Graeme
For application to bare, sound, clean, dry and prepared galvanised steel you would need to prime first with Rust-Oleum 3302 CombiPrimer Adhesion Primer.
Any rust must be removed prior to any application.
