Hello, I have cream limestone tiles in my home, they have been sealed correctly also. However, because I rent my apartment out the tiles look stained and dirty all the time. I want to paint them with rusto-leum floor paint (I have ordered many samples to match the existing colour of my tiles). Please can you advise what floor primer to use and what (if any) floor sealer to use after I have painted them). many thanks Samantha Milton 07855610950
Unfortunately we would not recommend to paint sealed limestone floor tiles.
But if the sealer has worn away and the tiles are now porous, a test on a small area for compatibility and adhesion is undertaken and successful you could consider Coo-Var Acrylic Floor Paint - Special Colours.
This is available mixed to many RAL, NCS or BS colours in a semi-gloss finish.
