Hello Recently lightly rubbed down outside windows & door previously covered with Sadolin extra rosewood & repainted with Ronseal 10yr waterproof wood paint in grey. The Ronseal is starting to flake off . Guess I need a good primer/ sealer but not sure what to use now weather is turning cold.
Assuming the failing coatings are removed, the timber is bare, clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend 2 coats of Zinsser Cover Stain followed by 2 coats of Zinsser AllCoat Exterior (Solvent Based) to all areas.
3 coats should be applied to any areas exposed to pooling water.
