Need Help?

Heya. I'm looking to paint some designs on steel radiator caps for a car engine and would need red, black, and white paint as well as primer. At the moment I'm thinking I am going to need to use VHT spray paint but this is not ideal as the designs are quite delicate and I'd prefer to paint them on with a brush. Do you have any recommendations? Cheers, Nuala

Assuming the steel caps are only exposed to a dry heat not exceeding 90°C, they are clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet you can consider Rust-Oleum CombiColor Original.

This is available in a range of colours, in a satin or gloss finish.
