I have an inset wood burning stove set into a marble surround and then finished with a wooden fire surround. We have recently painted the surround but the paint has bubbled underneath the mantelpiece from the heat of the stove. We now need to repaint in something which is a ‘colour’ rather than black or white and which will be rather more durable. Which paint would you recommend? Many thanks.
Unfortunately we do not have a heat resistant paint we can recommend for application to marble or timber.
