Need Help?

I have been given your name by cleveland containers to buy paint to cover a 40ft shipping container, colour RAL 6007. Please could you price me up the zinc sulphate or advise me on what is best to use for long lasting protection?# Thanks Ian

For the vertical areas of the shipping container assuming it is previously painted, clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Rust-Oleum 7500 Alkythane.

This available in a satin or gloss finish, in many RAL, BS or NCS colours including RAL 6007.

If there are any areas of bare metal this should be primed first with Rust-Oleum 569/580 QD Metal Primer.

For the roof we would recommend Rust-Oleum Mathys Fillcoat, this is available in black or dark grey.
