Need Help?

I have been told to use a solvent based masonry paint (pliolite) on the outside of my L shaped garage, which has just been converted into a painting studio. What colour range is available to me in this kind of paint? I need fifteen litres. Is it possible to mix a colour? Can a waterbased masonry paint be colour washed as a top coat on a white pliolite base, or would that be unstable? It would be very helpful and I would be very grateful if you are able to supply answers to these questions....thank you! Karen Popham

Assuming the walls to be painted are cement based, clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Wethertex PP77 All Weather Pliolite Masonry Paint - Smooth Matt.

This can be mixed to many RAL, NCS or BS colours in a matt finish.

We would not recommend applying a colour wash over the painted surface.
