I need to paint a sheet of exterior marine grade ply on my parkhome with highbuild paint. Do I need to use a membrane primer as is the case with Sandtex Highbuild paint and if so does it come in small quantities ie 1L etc.....?
We do not stock Sandtex, assuming the plywood is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Wethertex HBS Flex-Coat Hi-Build Coating.
On plywood we recommend priming first with Wethertex ST1 Quick Dry Stabilising Primer and then using a plasterers scrim on the joints before applying the Wethertex HBS Flex-Coat Hi-Build Coating.
The smallest tin size is 15kg.
