Description
Fire Protection for Pipe Penetrations
FR Pipe Wrap is an advanced fire-stopping solution designed to maintain fire resistance in walls and floors when penetrated by plastic pipes, conduits, or metal pipes with continuous combustible insulation. It effectively prevents fire and smoke from spreading through openings by sealing off the gaps left by melting pipes.
Certified for Various Pipe Types
- Compatible with PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ABS, SAN+PVC, and PP pipes.
- Applicable for pipes ranging from small diameters up to Ø400 mm.
- Suitable for conduits and pipes with continuous combustible insulation.
Simple and Efficient Installation
- Each wrap is installed fully around the pipe and secured using the self-adhesive tab.
- The annular space around the pipe wrap must be sealed with Protecta® EX Mortar or Protecta® FR Board.
- Offered in ready-made sizes for common pipe diameters, or in 25-metre rolls for customised applications.
High-Performance Fire Resistance
- Provides up to 240 minutes of fire resistance, ensuring compliance with strict building regulations.
