Coo-Var Suregrip Anti-Slip Floor Paint - Special Colours is a high-performance coating designed to create safe, slip-resistant surfaces. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, this product is perfect for areas prone to moisture or substances that could lead to slippery conditions, such as ramps, stairs, and machinery areas. The paint is formulated for easy application with brushes or rollers, offering excellent adhesion on concrete, wood, metal, and GRP.
Application and Uses
Before applying the product, it is crucial to ensure that surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. For concrete surfaces, use mechanical or chemical treatments to roughen smooth surfaces. On wood and metal surfaces, prime with Coo-Var Penetrating Wood Primer or Zinc Phosphate Metal Primer, respectively. This product provides durability and protection, with a rough, slip-resistant finish that is ideal for environments where safety is paramount.

Limitations and Precautions
This product is not suitable for unprepared surfaces. It should not be used on damp or greasy surfaces, as this may affect adhesion. Do not thin the product, as this could reduce its anti-slip properties. Always ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying to prevent the accumulation of harmful vapours.
Recommendations
For optimal performance, use in combination with Coo-Var primers such as the Zinc Phosphate Metal Primer for ferrous metals or the Penetrating Wood Primer. If a smoother, decorative finish is needed in addition to safety, Coo-Var's standard floor paint range can be applied over the Suregrip layer.
