Coo-Var ProGrip Heavy Duty Two-Pack Anti-Slip Floor Paint

This two-pack anti-slip floor coating is formulated to deliver exceptional durability and slip resistance. The product is designed to withstand the wear and tear caused by foot traffic, trucks, vans, and forklifts, making it perfect for commercial, industrial, and heavy-duty environments.

Application Areas

Suitable for use on a wide variety of surfaces including wood, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and tarmac. It can also be applied over stable existing coatings, provided the surface is properly prepared. This makes it an ideal solution for refurbishing old floors as well as finishing new surfaces. For the best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.

Application Guidelines

Before using the product, ensure the surface is well-prepared. For concrete, power-floated or smooth surfaces should be roughened to provide an adequate key. The product should be applied with a brush or short-pile roller. Ensure temperatures are above 10°C during application and curing. Mix Part A and Part B as per the instructions and add 250ml of clean water to each 5kg pack.

• Recoat interval: 16 hours minimum
• Full cure time: 5-7 days

Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or in high humidity conditions, as this can affect the drying and curing process.

Limitations

This product is not recommended for metal surfaces unless a suitable primer, such as the Teamac High Performance Zinc Phosphate Primer, is applied first. Avoid using on surfaces prone to frequent chemical exposure or where heavy moisture is present. It should not be diluted beyond the recommended 250ml of water per 5kg pack.

Additional Recommendations

For surfaces requiring extra durability or protection, consider using the Coo-Var High Performance Primer as an undercoat. This will enhance adhesion, especially on polished or porous surfaces. The product contains substances that can cause skin irritation and serious eye damage (H315, H319). Wear protective clothing, gloves, and eye protection during use. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice. Avoid releasing the product into the environment, as it may harm aquatic life (H412).
