Teamac High Performance Industrial Floor Paint
This high-performance industrial floor paint is specially formulated to deliver exceptional durability and resistance in demanding environments. As a two-component system, it ensures long-lasting protection for floors subjected to heavy traffic, harsh chemicals, and UV exposure. The paint is versatile enough for various substrates including wood, concrete, masonry, and suitably primed metal, making it ideal for industrial settings where resilience is key.
Application Areas
This product is designed for use in high-traffic areas, such as warehouses, factories, and other industrial facilities. It can be applied to surfaces that will endure foot traffic, vehicles, and machinery. The product is also suitable for use in areas where chemical resistance is critical, such as bunds and chemical storage zones. However, it is crucial to ensure the correct surface preparation, particularly on concrete, which should be roughened to provide a proper key for the paint.

- Not recommended for use over conventional solvent-based paints.
Preparation and Application
Before application, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free from contaminants. For concrete surfaces, mechanical abrading or acid etching is recommended to provide a good key for the paint. The two components (Base and Hardener) must be thoroughly mixed before application, preferably using a slow-speed electric mixer. Application should be performed with a brush or short nap mohair roller, and the product should not be thinned. It is crucial to adhere to the recommended overcoating times to ensure proper curing and performance.
- Apply at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.
- Minimum overcoating time is 16 hours, with a full cure taking 5 to 7 days.
- Do not apply in high humidity or low temperatures as it can affect curing.
- Spraying is not recommended due to the emission of small amounts of free isocyanate when atomised.
Additional Recommendations
For best results, consider using Teamac 2 Pack Zinc Phosphate Primer before applying this floor paint on metal surfaces. Additionally, ensure to follow up with a subsequent coat of the same paint if required, observing the minimum and maximum overcoating times. Avoid using this product over conventional solvent-based paints as it may lead to compatibility issues. Always refer to the downloadable data sheet for detailed information on application, safety, and maintenance.
