Questions
Question about the product
Kevin Jones on 2024-10-17 15:10:54 | Question:
When it rains the water runs through the resin drive if I treat it with your product will it still run through. Also how long will the uv protection last Thanks in advance |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the existing resin surfacing is permeable resin bound, and you are looking to refresh the existing coating, this product could be applied to suitability clean, dry, sound and well prepared driveways, without affecting the permeability of the system. We'd recommend applying to a small test area to check for compatibility and adhesion with any existing coating, prior to full application. This product is not moisture tolerant and will turn white if any moisture is on the surface, within the depth of the resin bound surfacing, or if humidity levels are high. UV Protection will last for the lifetime of the product, however dependent on weathering and trafficking levels, recoating may be required after 5 years to refresh the coating. | |
