Can the strips of thermoplastic be cut and if so would scissors do it or is it a stanley knife job?

Thermoplastic lines can be cut very easily prior to applicaton and scissors or a stanley knife would be fine.

How long are the rolls?

603 Thermoplastic Lines are supplied in 5 metre rolls in various widths.

When applying line paint from a roll does the side with the blue film go up or down to ground

The markings should be placed in position with the protective plastic film uppermost. The plastic film is then removed and heat is applied with a blow torch when ready to apply. Full application instructions can be found in the product data sheet available to download from the 'DATASHEETS' tab on the product page.

Yes, as long as the surface is primed first with 605 Thermoplastic Tack Primer .

ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

*Colours are sold in the nearest tin size but actual paint volume per tin may vary up to 10% depending on colour
