In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. We recommend that Customer first purchases the smallest Product available or access an industry standard colour chart in person (and not digitally) to ensure that the colour is acceptable for its purposes.

Description

Rust-Oleum Zinc Primer is a zinc-rich coating spray with sparkling aluminium particles, designed for repairing damaged galvanised steel surfaces. It acts as a fast-drying zinc-rich primer and topcoat, offering cathodic protection through its pure zinc and aluminium pigments. Ideal for small areas or touch-ups, it performs well in light industrial, corrosive, and high humidity environments. Recommended wet and dry film thicknesses are 115 µm and 35 µm, with theoretical consumption at 1.2 m² per spray can.

Classified as extremely flammable and an eye irritant, the product requires the use of chemical-resistant gloves and splash goggles. Store in a dry, ventilated area away from direct sunlight and temperatures over 35°C. Ensure proper ventilation during application. Dispose of according to local environmental regulations.
