Description
Rust-Oleum Hi-Vis & Luminous Paints are aerosol-based fluorescent topcoats designed for high visibility applications such as railings, signs, and colour coding. These coatings are lead- and chromate-free, and they should be applied over a flat white base coat for optimal brightness. For exterior applications, it is recommended to finish with Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2500 Clear to enhance gloss and durability. The product features quick drying times, being touch dry in 15 minutes and fully cured in three days under standard conditions (20°C, 50% relative humidity). It is suitable for use in light industrial environments, normal humidity, and interior applications.
The fluorescent paints are classified as highly flammable aerosols and should be handled with care to avoid inhalation and skin contact. Prolonged exposure may cause skin dryness or irritation, and direct eye contact can result in serious irritation. The product should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition, with a storage temperature not exceeding 35°C. Empty containers should be disposed of safely, and users must consult the safety data sheet for detailed information on safe handling practices and first aid measures.
