Solvent-Based Primer Finish for Skirting Boards
A versatile synthetic resin primer designed for challenging interior surfaces. This product is formulated to be odourless while effectively blocking difficult stains such as water, smoke, and nicotine. It offers excellent adhesion to a variety of glossy surfaces without the need for pre-sanding or deglossing. Additionally, it provides a bright, non-yellowing, dead-flat finish that is suitable for ceilings and walls. Available in any NCS, RAL, or BS4800 shade, making it highly adaptable to different design requirements.
Application and Specifications
Recommended for interior use on walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and various paintable surfaces. It adheres well to substrates such as plaster, concrete, wood, metal, and PVC, among others. The product features a high pH resistance, making it suitable for use on surfaces with pH levels up to 12.5. Application methods include brush, roller, or airless spray, with a practical spread rate of 45-55m² per 5 litres. The primer dries to the touch in one hour and can be recoated after two hours. For optimal results, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Cleanup requires mineral spirits, and unused product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
