ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. We recommend that Customer first purchases the smallest Product available or access an industry standard colour chart in person (and not digitally) to ensure that the colour is acceptable for its purposes.

Description

High-performance, shellac-based primer-sealer and stain killer designed for interior and spot exterior applications. It offers exceptional adhesion to glossy surfaces without the need for sanding and effectively blocks stains and odours. The primer dries quickly, making it suitable for fast-paced projects, and provides a high-hiding formula that seals porous surfaces, reducing the number of topcoats required. Its versatility makes it ideal for use on a variety of surfaces, including drywall, plaster, wood, and metal, and it is especially effective at sealing in heavy fire and water stains, as well as odours from smoke and urine.

Application and Safety

Recommended for interior applications such as ceilings, walls, doors, trim, cabinets, and furniture. For exterior use, it should be limited to spot priming. The primer can be applied using a brush, roller, pad, or spray and is suitable for use in a range of temperatures. Safety precautions include keeping the product away from heat, sparks, and open flames, ensuring adequate ventilation, and wearing protective gloves and eye protection. The product is classified as highly flammable and may cause serious eye damage and skin irritation, so proper handling and storage are essential.
