ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

Description

A high-performance shellac-based product designed for interior and spot exterior use. It provides excellent adhesion to glossy surfaces without the need for scuff sanding and dries quickly, allowing for recoating in just 45 minutes. This primer-sealer effectively blocks and seals a wide range of stains, including water, nicotine, and smoke stains, and it permanently seals odours from pets and smoke. Its versatility makes it suitable for various surfaces such as drywall, plaster, wood, metal, and more.

Usage and Safety Information Ideal for use on interior surfaces, the stain-blocking paint can also be used for spot priming on exterior surfaces. It is especially effective for sealing porous surfaces and providing excellent enamel holdout, reducing the number of topcoats needed. While it is not recommended for full exterior applications or surfaces subject to prolonged water contact, it excels in spot applications. The product is highly flammable and requires proper safety measures during handling and storage, including the use of personal protective equipment and ensuring adequate ventilation.
