Description
Rust-Oleum Adhesion Promoter is designed for use on smooth, dense surfaces like power-floated concrete, quarry tiles, and ceramic tiles. It offers quick adhesion, being touch dry in 1.5 hours and ready for recoating in 3 hours, enabling a fast application process.
- High solids content of 65% by weight and 50% by volume, ensuring a robust adhesion layer.
- Achieves optimal performance when applied in a wet film thickness of 100 µm, which translates to a dry film thickness of 50 µm, with a theoretical consumption rate of 10 m² per litre.
- Suitable for use with most Rust-Oleum epoxy and polyurethane coatings, although it is advised to test for compatibility with other coatings.
Safety and Handling
- Contains hazardous chemicals like formaldehyde polymers and epichlorohydrin derivatives, which require careful handling and disposal in accordance with local regulations to prevent environmental contamination.
- Stable under normal conditions but must be stored in a cool, dry place away from incompatible materials.
- Proper ventilation is necessary during application to avoid inhalation of hazardous vapours or mists.
