Applications

Surface Preparation
Ensure that surfaces are free from dirt, dust, grease, and mould. Use a fungicidal cleaner for mould, and sugar soap for contaminated areas. Lightly sand previous alkyd paints to create a key for adhesion. Fill holes and cracks with appropriate fillers and spot prime before applying the top coat. For best results on new timber, treat knots with a proprietary knotting solution and use a quality primer.
Application Instructions
- Apply in temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.
- Use high-quality synthetic brushes or short-napped rollers for smooth surfaces.
- Maintain a wet edge and avoid overworking the paint.
- For airless spray application, dilute paint by up to 25% and seek technical guidance from spray equipment manufacturers.
Limitations
Not suitable for use on polypropylene or other non-paintable plastics. Avoid applying in high humidity or very low temperatures. Always follow recoat times to avoid lifting or peeling. Not recommended for exterior use without proper priming.
Health and Safety
Contains biocidal ingredients: 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one, and a reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction.
Precautionary statements: Avoid contact with skin and eyes, do not breathe spray or mist. Always use appropriate PPE and work in a well-ventilated area.
