Applications

  • Interior gypsum plaster, plasterboard, and timber surfaces.
  • High-use interior surfaces where frequent cleaning is necessary.
  • Exterior joinery such as timber windows and doors.
  • Metal radiators and surfaces (with appropriate metal primer on bare steel substrates).

Features

  • Exceptional scuff and marking resistance.
  • Easy cleanability and enhanced resistance to common household stains.
  • Low odour, making it ideal for quick room turnarounds.
  • Excellent blocking resistance, ensuring surfaces don’t stick together once dried.

Surface Preparation

Ensure that surfaces are free from dirt, dust, grease, and mould. Use a fungicidal cleaner for mould, and sugar soap for contaminated areas. Lightly sand previous alkyd paints to create a key for adhesion. Fill holes and cracks with appropriate fillers and spot prime before applying the top coat. For best results on new timber, treat knots with a proprietary knotting solution and use a quality primer.

Application Instructions

  • Apply in temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Use high-quality synthetic brushes or short-napped rollers for smooth surfaces.
  • Maintain a wet edge and avoid overworking the paint.
  • For airless spray application, dilute paint by up to 25% and seek technical guidance from spray equipment manufacturers.

Limitations

Not suitable for use on polypropylene or other non-paintable plastics. Avoid applying in high humidity or very low temperatures. Always follow recoat times to avoid lifting or peeling. Not recommended for exterior use without proper priming.
