Ronacrete RonaScreed Primer

RonaScreed Primer is an acrylic dispersion specially formulated to enhance adhesion and inhibit water penetration in intermittently damp locations. This versatile primer acts as a pore sealer on floor surfaces, preventing air bubbles from rising through subsequently applied sub-floor smoothing compounds and flowable screeds, thus extending their flow life and workability.

Applications

• Shake the container well before use.
• For standard priming, dilute as specified in the system notes and apply evenly using a brush or broom over a sound, clean, and dust-free surface. Allow to dry to a clear thin film.
• For slurry priming, mix 1 volume water, 1 volume RonaScreed Primer, and 1 volume of the cement-based product. Brush a thin, even layer onto the surface and allow to set before continuing with work.
• For exterior priming/sealing, blend 4 volumes water with 1 volume RonaScreed Primer and apply a thin layer. Allow to dry slightly before applying flowable screeds.
• For non-absorbent surfaces, use undiluted RonaScreed Primer and allow to dry thoroughly.
• For anhydrite screeds, apply two coats diluted 1:3 with water at right angles to each other.
