Ronacrete RonaDeck Resin Bonded Surfacing
A two-component resin bonded system designed to secure aggregates firmly to prepared surfaces. Its primary function is to offer high slip resistance, enhance aesthetics, and reduce the mess associated with loose gravel. The system is compatible with natural and contrasting aggregates, offering decorative and functional versatility.
Where Can It Be Used?
Ideal for concrete, asphalt, and steel, it is suitable for paths, driveways, car parks, ramps, and highways. Applications include:
- Landscaping and garden paths.
- Footbridges, steps, and balconies.
- Sea walls, marina jetties, and pond surrounds.
- Pedestrian crossings, hazard zones, and junction approaches.

This product stands out for its rapid curing capabilities, allowing light traffic within 4 hours under suitable conditions. It provides:

Application and Restrictions
Follow strict guidelines during application:
- Apply only on dry, clean, and structurally sound substrates.
- Avoid use on soft or poorly compacted asphalt and substrates with insufficient tensile strength.
- Do not proceed if the surface temperature exceeds 30°C or is below 5°C.
- Avoid high humidity conditions (>80%) and damp surfaces.
Steel substrates require thorough degreasing and shot blasting. For porous surfaces, primers such as RonaDeck Resin Bonded GP Primer are recommended. Refer to the product data sheet for details on surface preparation and application rates.
