Description
What is RonaDeck Resin Bonded GP Primer?
A high-performance two-component, solvent-free epoxy primer designed for porous and surface damp concrete or screeds. Its advanced formulation ensures exceptional adhesion to substrates, preventing pinholing and blistering when used under RonaDeck Resin Bonded Surfacing systems.

Where Can It Be Used?
This primer is suitable for a variety of applications, including:
- Priming porous or surface damp concrete substrates.
- Enhancing adhesion for RonaDeck Resin Bonded Surfacing systems.
- Use on structurally sound surfaces prepared through captive shot blasting or similar methods.
Avoid using the product on unprepared, friable, or heavily contaminated surfaces. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry after washing, and free from laitance or loose materials.

Limitations and Recommendations
Do not apply below 5°C or to substrates with high levels of contamination, grease, or oil. Ensure the primer is protected until the subsequent surfacing layer is applied. The product must not be used directly from the mixing vessel to avoid uneven mixing or curing issues. For fast repairs on substrates, consider using RonaFloor Repair 1 Hour.
Application Instructions
Mix the two components thoroughly with a slow-speed drill and spiral paddle for three minutes. Apply with a squeegee and roller to achieve even coverage, ensuring a textured and laitance-free surface. Broadcast kiln-dried sand into the wet primer for optimal performance with RonaDeck Resin Bonded Surfacing. Allow curing for 24 hours before applying the surfacing system.
