ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

Colour reproduction of the Products on the Site is limited by the technology used to deliver web pages and by the colour representation of Customer’s own monitor and computer set-up. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. We recommend that Customer first purchases the smallest Product available or access an industry standard colour chart in person (and not digitally) to ensure that the colour is acceptable for its purposes.

Description

Jotun Hardtop Smart Pack is a two component chemically curing modified acrylic coating that does not contain isocyanates. It has a gloss finish with good gloss retention and can be used direct to metal. It has a 1:1 mixing ratio for easy use and reduced wastage and is specially designed for application with brush and roller.

Jotun Hardtop Smart Pack is ideal as a topcoat over an epoxy primer where a durable, high gloss finish is required for aggressive atmospheric exposure. May also be used as a direct to metal maintenance coating in medium corrosivity classes.

With its superior flow properties, Jotun Hardtop Smart Pack becomes tailor-made for application with brushes and rollers. So, when you use Hardtop Smart Pack with either a roller or a brush, you can expect a smooth finish and the correct film thickness.

1:1 mixing ratio
While other paints call for a complicated mixing ratio, Hardtop Smart Pack has a hassle free 1:1 mixing ratio – making it easier to mix only what you need, and harder to waste.

Primers
Together with Jotun Jotamastic Smart Pack, this topcoat will form the Smart Pack System. The Smart Pack System is tailor-made for maintenance with brush and roller, and will enable you to halve your paint consumption, when compared to traditional paints used in a maintenance situation.

Dylan on 2024-01-17 08:11:10	Question: Hi, we are applying the 0099 Black topcoat to some cast iron panels externally and need to know whether we could the go over the Hardtop topcoat with another paint to achieve the Bronze coloured finish we desire? Unfortunately the colour we require is not available in the Hardtop, thanks.
	Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Assuming the colour required is a RAL or BS colour code, you could consider Jotun Hardtop CA or Jotun Jotatop Pro as a topcoat finish over the Jotun Hardtop Smart Pack.

	Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Unfortunately no, for this application assuming the area is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Jotun Penguard HB.
