We no longer stock this product, but can recommend Sikafloor 151 as a great alternative.

adam lodge on 2017-03-19 19:07:27 | Question: Can this product be used with anhydrite floor screeds? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Subject to satisfactory preparation Sika have advised they do not see any issues in using Sikafloor 161 as a primer with an Anhydrite screed substrate. However, the moisture content would need to be a lot lower than normal when using an epoxy over this type of screed, Sika recommend 0.5%. Anhydrite cures by expelling moisture whereas sand and cement cure by using water (hydration of the cement). This means you need a much lower moisture content before using an epoxy over the screed. It's also important to know that total sealing of the screed can cause it to emulsify at a later date should water become present, therefore we would advise proceeding with caution. | |
