Carboline Carboxane 2000 Topcoat is a two pack modified silane multi-polymer, and is a high performance, multi-purpose finishing product, allowing reduced coating specification in corrosion protection. It also adds a new dimension to finishing over Nullifire fire protection.

Surface Preparation
General
- Surfaces must be properly cleaned.
- Employ adequate methods to remove dirt, dust, oil, and all other contaminantst that could interfere with the adhesion of the coating.
Previously Painted Surfaces
- Can be applied over previously painted surfaces that still adheres well to the substrate, including organic and inorganic zink primers.
Primed Surfaces
- Apply over clean, dry primers or intermediate coats as recommended by Carboline.

Note:
- Metallic colours must be conventionally spray applied, do not brush or roller.
- Certain colours may require 2 coats of Carboxane 2000 for opacity. For external use 2 coats by brush are normally preferred, when spray application is not possible due to restriction of site working.
