Assuming there will be no significant contraction or expansion of these surfaces, this product will be fine to use. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned, degreased and lightly abraded to provide a surface key. It can then be applied directly, or primed first with Rust-Oleum 3302 CombiPrimer Adhesion Primer prior to application.

Can this product Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2116 Stainless Steel Coating use on a stainless steel sink bowl? which is for surface of the bowl, and not inside the sink. The problem is: the coating in black colour on the surface of the Undermount bowl has some peeling off I'd be grateful if you could reply as soon as possible, or if you could recommend other product to solve the issue.

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, oil, and loose rust. Prime with the recommended Rust-Oleum primers for optimal adhesion.
Application Conditions: Apply in well-ventilated areas with relative humidity below 85% and temperatures above 0°C.
Spray Technique: Shake the can vigorously for at least one minute before use. Hold the can 25 cm from the surface and spray in a back-and-forth motion. Apply several thin layers at intervals of a few minutes for best results.
Post-Application: After use, clean the valve by turning the can upside down and pressing the spray button for 2-3 seconds.

Usage: The product is suitable for professional and industrial use. It should not be used on unprepared surfaces or outside the recommended environmental conditions.
