Application
This versatile paint can be applied to various surfaces including new and previously painted render, stucco, brick, stone, and cured concrete. It is especially suited for exterior projects where weather resistance is crucial. The paint can be applied at temperatures as low as -5°C, making it suitable for use throughout the year.
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
- For best results, remove loose or peeling paint and smooth edges by sanding.
- Use a synthetic bristle brush, roller, or sprayer for application.
- For porous surfaces, apply a 'mist coat' thinned with white spirit.
- Recoat after 3 hours; full adhesion and hardness develop in 7 days.

Limitations
This paint is not intended for use on exterior floors, decks, or any surface subject to water immersion or prolonged contact with water. It should not be applied to surfaces below the recommended temperature range or in conditions of high humidity.

Hi I have bought Wethertex AP77 masonry paint from you before. Please advise if Zinsser All Weather Masonry is a good alternative. We need enough for 24 garages for a block of maisonettes. I like this as it can be applied in low temp. But what is the longevity? The Wethertex AP 77 says 20 years. Please clarify. sarah 07855381984 |

I have an exterior wall where metal edgings have rusted.I plan to use a rust converter and two coatings metal primer paint. Then re paint the whole wall including the metal paint primed bit with the exterior Zinsser exterior masonry paint. Can you confirm this will work OK and maybe offer a novice any tips? This product can be applied to masonry, but it is not resistant to corrosion coming through from the metal edging. In most cases the corrosion may return if the edging is not replaced for a plastic version. We would recommend to test on a small area prior to full application for compatibility and adhesion between your choosen metal primer and the masonry paint. | |
