High-Performance Epoxy Sealant for Industrial and Commercial Flooring
Epoxy BS 3000 SG is a durable, water-based, silk-gloss epoxy coating designed for a range of industrial and commercial applications. It is a two-component system that provides a hard-wearing, vapour-permeable sealant suitable for use on concrete and cementitious substrates. Designed as a topcoat in Remmers Water Vapour Diffusion-Open systems, it enhances floor protection while maintaining breathability.

Epoxy BS 3000 SG offers a robust surface finish with anti-slip properties, making it suitable for areas requiring enhanced safety and durability. It is commonly used in warehouses, workshops, and industrial settings. The coating is easy to apply with a roller or rubber scraper and ensures a strong, long-lasting finish.
- Resistant to mechanical wear and abrasion, suitable for areas with light to medium traffic.
- Ideal as a topcoat over blinded coatings or Remmers OS 8 WD system.
- Provides water vapour permeability, allowing substrates to breathe.
- Can be used with other Remmers epoxy systems such as Epoxy BS 2000 and Epoxy BS 4000.
Application Guidelines
The substrate must be firm, stable, and free from contaminants. It should be prepared using suitable Remmers Water Vapour Diffusion-Open products. The product is mixed at an 80:20 ratio (Component A to Component B) and must be applied immediately after mixing.
Apply generously using a rubber scraper or roller, ensuring even distribution. The first coat can be diluted with 5% water for improved penetration. Multiple layers may be required for optimal performance.
Limitations and Restrictions
- Not suitable for areas subject to dynamic point loads or metal/polyamide tyres.
- UV exposure may cause slight colour variation over time.
- Must not be applied at temperatures below 8°C or above 30°C.
- Humidity must not exceed 80% during application and curing.
