Cromadex 680 Two Pack Polyurethane Matt Primer Finish is a two pack matt primer finish; the high quality resin and curing agent help to produce excellent long term colour stability. The product contains zinc phosphate giving added corrosion resistance for greater durability.

The product contains zinc phosphate giving added corrosion resistance for greater durability. Cromadex 680 is available in full Cromadex range of colours, including BS, RAL, and special matches all in a lead free finish.
Suitable Substrates and Preparation
Degreasing with Cromadex 678 Spirit Wipe is recommended and should be carried out after any abrasion of the surface.
Steel: Degrease and abrade with P180. If necessary blast clean to remove millscale, minimum surface preparation SA2.
Aluminium & Galvanised Steel: Degrease and abrade with P240 to remove surface oxide layer. For even greater system performance apply Cromadex 903 Chromate-Free Etch Primer (then other Cromadex primer if required to increase film build).
Stainless Steel: Use of Cromadex 903, AQ58, 750 or 850 primer is required.
GRP: Remove release coat, degrease and abrade with P280. Primer with Cromadex 750 primer.
Powder Coating: Degrease and abrade with P280. Prime as necessary with Cromadex 750 or 850 primer.
4.5L unit comprises;
4L of 680 Base + 1L of 690 Curing Agent (only add half i.e. 500ml of curing agent to 4L base)
18L unit comprises;
16L of 680 Base + 2L of 690 Curing Agent
