ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

Colour reproduction of the Products on the Site is limited by the technology used to deliver web pages and by the colour representation of Customer’s own monitor and computer set-up. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. We recommend that Customer first purchases the smallest Product available or access an industry standard colour chart in person (and not digitally) to ensure that the colour is acceptable for its purposes.

Cromadex 630 Two Pack Polyurethane Self Spatter Topcoat is a two pack polyurethane self spatter topcoat with excellent exterior durability and chemical resistance. The product’s self spatter application helps hide minor substrate defects.

Cromadex 630 Two Pack Polyurethane Self Spatter Topcoat demonstrates good mar resistance, ideal if the end product is to be widely handled. Cromadex 630 is a high solids product enabling it to be used as part of VOC reduction programme. Cromadex 630 is available in a wide range of colours, including BS, RAL and special matches all in a lead free finish.

Life expectancy of up to 15 years in a C3 (as determined in ISO12944) external environment when used with a suitable Cromadex primer. See Extra Life brochure for full details.

Suitable Substrates and Preparation

Mild Steel: Degrease with Cromadex 678 Spirit Wipe and abrade steel with P180. If necessary blast clean to remove millscale, minimum surface preparation SA2. Apply suitable Cromadex primer.

Aluminium & Galvanised Steel: Apply Cromadex 903 Chromate-Free Etch Primer (then other Cromadex primer is required to increase film build).

Stainless Steel: Use of Cromadex 903, AQ58, 750 or 850 primer is required.

Powder Coating: Degrease and abrade with P280.

Plastics: Direct adhesion to ABS, Noryl & PU Foam (Rigid), for HIPS, Acrylic, Polycarbonate, PVC and PU Foam (flexible) consult the Technical Department. Clean with a suitable anti-static cleaner prior to coating.
