Hydron AG4 Graffiti Remover is a new and specially formulated blend of solvents and biodegradable detergents to comply with new Government legislation designed and developed to remove graffiti from more porous or extensively vandalised surfaces where a longer 'dwell time' is required.
- Removes aerosol graffiti, permanent marker pen, crayon and lipstick from more porous surfaces such as brickwork and concrete, as well as non-porous surfaces with a heavy build up of graffiti such as tiles and metalwork
- Extended dwell-time allows effective penetration of porous surfaces and restricts evaporation of solvents which cause unpleasant odours

Questions
Question about the product
Laura on 2024-10-18 13:40:16 | Question:
If I don't have a pressure washer, can I still use this to remove graffiti from brick? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Ideally when applying this product, a pressure washer is suggested to ensure the product works as intended, to safely remove any excess residue when applied to the brick that could impact performance. If this isn't achievable, using a hose would be OK, and recommend using alongside a stiff brush to gently scrub whilst rinsing. Ideally working from the bottom up to the top is more effective for rinsing.
Darren on 2024-02-28 15:28:55 | Question:
Hello from reviews looks like this stuff will work, what sort of area will 5l cover / remove Regards Darren |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Unfortunately there is not a listed coverage rate for the product, the substrate and type of graffiti affect the quantity required.
Lucy on 2022-11-11 04:00:54 | Question:
will this remove spray paint on tarmac and if so how is it best applied? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Unfortunately no this product is not suitable for use on tarmac.
Chris on 2022-08-11 16:18:18 | Question:
Hi can i use this in a plastic coated metal external door |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
No, for this application to a plastic substrate we would recommend the use of Hydron AG2 Graffiti Remover. We would also suggest trying it on a small area prior to full application.
Trevor jacobs on 2021-08-25 09:29:56 | Question:
I have graffiti on roof cladding horizontal sheets.what product would you use |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
This will remove graffiti from both porous and non-porous substrates - once applied and left for 10minutes it should be removed with a pressure washer. Should further applications be required then the substrate must be left to dry 1st.
Barry on 2021-08-24 19:20:02 | Question:
Will this remove airasol paint from the front of my house( rendered ) ? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Hydron AG4 Graffiti Remover will remove aerosol paint from porous substrates such as brickwork and concrete. Best solution would be to apply AG4 liberally to the painted area, leave 10 minutes and then remove with a pressure washer. If further applications are needed, the surface would need to be left to dry before application.
Paul on 2021-08-11 14:07:40 | Question:
Hi we're looking to remove graffiti from mermaid board in toilets at Wembley Stadium! It's like a laminate/splashback material - WD40 does some but not enough - what would you recommend please? Thanks |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the boards are a laminate or plastic we would recommend Hydron AG2 Graffiti Remover for this application.

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
This is a solvent based product containing biodegradable detergents that comply with all goverment legislation but it is not safe for aquatec life.
Fiona Payne on 2021-07-05 08:08:48 | Question:
Do you have a product to remove graffiti from porous wood fencing? |

Unfortunately we do not have a product to recommend to remove graffiti from timber.
Carol sheard on 2021-07-04 15:08:50 | Question:
Will your product remove fence paint overspray from an Indian stone patio? The neighbour is in big trouble! |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Hydron AG4 Graffiti Remover can be used on sandstone, but for use on a patio we would recommend testing on a small area prior to full application, due to the porousity of the substate it is possible that during the process of attempting removal the paint may penetrate deeper. If successful, Hydron SL1 Shadow Lifter may also be required.
Brenda Powell on 2021-06-11 09:40:58 | Question:
Someone has spray painted a black stripe down me white Evoque car what can I use to remove it please |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Thank you for the enquiry, unfortunately we do not have a product recommend for this application.
Mark Laverick on 2021-02-08 16:27:39 | Question:
I have gloss and spray paint on metal doors I need to clean what could I use to remove without damaging the paint underneath Cheers Mark |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
For non porous surfaces such as painted substrates, tiles, glass and metalwork we would recommend Hydron AG3 Graffiti Remover. There is a risk that this may also bite into any existing painted finish, so careful application is required.
